About the Editing Support Organization (IAC-ESO):
IAC-ESO was established in order to facilitate manuscript preparation by researchers whose native language is not English and to help edit work intended for international academic journals. Quality revision, translation, and editing services are offered by our staff, who are native speakers of particular languages and who are familiar with academic writing and journal editing in English.

◆ Revision of papers in English
Our fees:

2,700 yen / 200 words 1. For manuscripts no more than 800 words in length, 1,500 yen will be added in addition to the basic fee. 2. For documents in PDF format, an additional 20% of the basic fee is added. 3. The manuscript can be formatted according to Instructions for Authors at the customer’s request. The service fee for this work is 1,000 yen. 4. For work done in 3., the customer will be given an estimate of the extra fee for any needed adjustments to Figures and Tables. |
Requests for use of our services:
・ To use our services, please first send us an e-mail with your manuscript. Also, please specify your contact address (including your name, mailing address, and e-mail address), the service you would like (revision, translation, or editing), and the method of payment (at public or private expense).
IAC-ESO
・ When we receive your request, we will promptly send a detailed estimate by e-mail. Please inform us if you agree with our estimate. This is necessary to complete your request.
About file types and file size:
・ The file types we handle include Microsoft Office Word and PDF formats. For manuscripts saved in a PDF format, an additional fee will be incurred (please refer to the above table).
・ sFiles should be smaller than 2 MB in size. For larger files, please divide the file into smaller files and send them separately.
・ If your manuscript is in a format other than Word or PDF, please send an inquiry to our office.
The time required:
・ IAC-ESO does not accept express orders at present, but we do our best to offer high-quality services as soon as possible. For most manuscripts, work takes 3~14 working days.
About delivery:
・ In general, the completed manuscript is delivered by e-mail.
・ If customers would like to receive the manuscript by regular mail, a postage fee will be charged.
・ No postage is charged for quotations, delivery statements, bills, and receipts.
About payment:
・ Methods of payment
We would ask that you pay by bank transfer. If you would like to pay by another method, please send an inquiry to our office. In principle, payments should be made in Japanese yen. Please, note that prices in other currencies may change based on exchange rates.
・ For customers paying at public expense
We are prepared to deliver a quotation, a statement of delivery, and a bill with the completed manuscript. Please inform us of any specified forms we should submit. Please remit your payment within 4 weeks.
・ For customers paying at private expense We will first send you a bill and ask for your payment. After your payment is confirmed, we will then deliver the completed manuscript.
About information management:
・ We strictly ensure the privacy and the rights of every customer. Third parties are in no way given access to customer information.
